This Sunday, we wrapped up our series in Jeremiah 29 by remembering God’s call to seek the peace and welfare of the places where we live, work, learn, and serve. We reflected on how God invited the exiles—and invites us—to look beyond ourselves, serve others, and pray for the communities around us. We were reminded that when we seek the peace of others, we often discover greater peace, connection, and wholeness ourselves. Together, we considered what it means for the church to be the church not just when we gather, but wherever we are sent.
