Everyone is invited to join us on Wednesday, August 12th for a Family Ministry Open House at 6pm in the Family Center. Come learn all about Sundays and Wednesdays as the school year begins as well as meet some of the volunteers!
This event should be attended by Parents/Guardians with their children/students as well as anyone interested in and/or volunteering within Family Ministry! There will not be a nursery!

Parents First Initiative
Are you a parent? Grandparent? Aunt? Uncle? Caregiver? Free parenting classes will begin soon with Parents First Initiative. This life changing Raising Highly Capable Kids program has helped parents nurture kids to become caring, responsible, thriving adults. You'll also have the opportunity to meet and connect with other parents, because we all know it takes a village! We were never intended to walk this path alone.
Topics include improving relational skills, negative peer pressure, conflict resolution, and more. Meals and childcare are provided, and some classes offer bilingual Spanish options as well.
Whether you're someone who cares deeply about your own child or is deeply invested in the lives of youth and children, this class is for you! The program applies to kids of all ages baby through high school. It's never too late to do something that will positively impact your child or teenager.
Classes are happening at schools near you, and there's even a class on Sunday afternoons here at LV First!

2nd Grade Bibles
We are so excited to present Bibles to our 2nd graders on August 30th!
If you would like your 2nd grader to receive a Bible, please email Kim with your child's name as you would like it written in the Bible!

faith-ology retreat
The North Georgia Conference Children’s retreat will be September 11th-13th at Camp Glisson. This retreat is always an action-packed fun time for rising 3rd-5th graders! We’ll have big group worship sessions in the chapel and rotate through 6 workshops throughout the day (including a drama station, music, crafts, ziplining into the lake and a campfire!)
*Because of our awesome response to the Campmeeting T-shirt sales, we are able to offer this $190 Retreat for $140! (If you register & pay a $50 deposit) by July 31st!
Check-in at LV First Warehouse at 5:30pm on Friday, September 11th (Eat dinner beforehand!)
Pick-up at LV First at 12:45pm on Sunday, September 13th.

Wednesday Nights

5:30pm - Studio Opens
Kids & Families are invited to bring dinner (or purchase pizza from Student Ministry) to eat together in the Studio!
6:00pm - Programming Begins
We have age level programming for kids PK3 - 5th grade from 6-7:30pm
Nursery available for younger children beginning at 6pm for adults participating in Wednesday night activities.
Pre K 3's & 4's
Our youngest group will review the stories of our faith presented on Sundays through a variety of creative hands on activities. We'll end each evening by joining the older kids for children's music!
K - 3rd Grades
Our K-3rd elementary groups will be using the themes of the music of our faith to discover what what the Worship of God is all about through a variety of experiences including cooking, art and science.
4th/5th Grades
Our 4th & 5th Grade Ambassadors will be taking their leadership skills to the next level through a discipleship program called Step Up! They will be equipping themselves to set an example in Worship, Prayer, Study & FUN!
