Welcome to KCLC

Our day begins with breakfast snack at 8:30 a.m.; please make every effort to bring your child to school by that time.  The academic portion of our day starts at 9:00 a.m..
Lesson plans are developed weekly and are posted in the classroom. Our classrooms are setup in a learning center configuration, which allows the child to choose his/her activities. The children are guided and encouraged to learn new self-help skills, think for themselves, make choices, experiment, explore, make mistakes, and have LOTS of fun.
KCLC uses the WEE Learning Curriculum, which provides the framework on which teachers can build an early childhood program that allows children to grow and develop as Jesus did- mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually. Luke 2:52

Kids Crossing Learning Center at LV|first United Methodist Church is a non-profit weekday school.
Our mission is to provide quality, Christian educational programs for children, infants 6 weeks old through Pre-k, in a safe and nurturing environment. Summer camp is also offered for rising first graders through rising third graders during June and July. Our qualified staff seeks to team with parents to encourage physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth through developmentally appropriate activities.
As a ministry of LV|first and a part of the Lawrenceville community, our purpose in all things is to unify children and families with Jesus Christ.

Family Information & Communication

Throughout the school year, we will assist you by providing continuing information regarding our programs and how they fit the developmental stages that your child experiences. Teachers can be reached through our Procare app for any concerns or general questions. This app is updated daily with information about your child.
Parents are encouraged to participate in the twice a year conferences to discuss their child’s developmental progress. These are usually held in the fall and spring of the year.
