At Lawrenceville First, we are all about putting Lawrenceville FIRST! We believe that the best way to connect with each other is to serve each other. Throughout the year, we offer opportunities to serve our community through partnerships with other local ministries, as well as church-led opportunities like our Easter Festival and Lawrenceville Assistance Project

Candy at the Cabins

On October 25th, we're inviting all of Lawrenceville to join us at our historic Campground for our annual Candy at the Cabins event! Each year, hundreds of families come to enjoy fun & safe cabin-treating, crafts, games, and more!

We need YOUR help to make it all happen! We're in need of volunteers to sponsor cabins, to supervise games & crafts, and to help tell our community about the work we're doing at Lawrenceville First. Keep an eye on this page to be the first to know when volunteer registrations open in the coming weeks!

We partner with a number of local ministries and community organizations on mission projects throughout the year.
Adopt a Teacher Program
When connecting the community to the church and the church to the community, a major place of connection is our local schools. We don’t need to do much explanation about the burden and strain on teachers, that’s a well-known fact. Teacher Adoption is one way we are doing our best to invest in our community members on a personal level!

Mentors are expected to show up in the life of their adopted Teacher once a month with a word of encouragement, text, email,  or even a little coffee treat to let these amazing teachers know they aren’t doing it alone! A small lift on our side can make a world of difference for those pouring into our young people every day. Feel free to sign up to love on more than one teacher or even grab a group to share the tasks with!

Parents First Initiative
The Parents First Initiative provides free parenting workshops to equip parents with 40 key developmental assets to help them understand and equip their children for future success.

Football Meals for Central Gwinnett
During the football season, we have the pleasure of hosting our Central Gwinnett Football Team at LVfirst and providing them with their pre-game meal. This is a great opportunity to serve and connect with our next generation.

City of Lawrenceville Events
Throughout the year, teams of volunteers from LVfirst will head out to events held by the City of Lawrenceville to spread the love of Jesus! You can find us at events like the city's Prelude to the Fourth and Boo Fest.

Summer Lunch Program
The Summer Lunch Program helps feed over 300 children in our community over the summer. Many of which rely on school breakfast & lunch for the majority of their meals.

Join us in the Warehouse on Sundays after church to pack and deliver bags of food to families in need!

Sleep in Heavenly Peace Bed Build
Each year, we partner with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to host a bed build at LVfirst. We take over the back parking lot and turn it into a bed building assembly line. The beds we build are then delivered throughout the year to children in our community that don't have a bed of their own.
