Parent Connect Event- November 4, 2026 (6:15-7:30)
"Parenting in Pain"
What do I do when life is painful? What about when my child is experiencing suffering? How am I supposed to parent well when I'm struggling to meet day-to-day demands? Join us for a time of gathering as we process through what it means to parent well when life is simply not easy. Whether you are experiencing loss or struggling with the demands of Parenthood in 2026, this workshop is designed to help you gain tools, community, and process through how you want to show up for yourself and your children.

Men's Morning Bible Study - Starting September 23rd
Over eight weeks, we'll gather on Wednesday mornings in the Spotlight Cafe to explore the book "Becoming Good Men." The first week will serve as an introduction to the book, followed by seven weeks diving into each chapter.
Join us as you are able for donuts and fellowship!

Hike & Learn — Campground Bible Study (Oct 5 - Nov 9)
We are excited to offer our first six-week study incorporating digging into the BIBLE, exploring SPIRITUALITY, while also getting outdoors into God's creation and hiking the trails at our historic Campground.

This opportunity is available for all physical activity levels as well as anyone new to the Bible or seasoned in studying the scriptures.

EXPLORING SPIRITUALITY AND FAITH
Join us at our historic 55-acre campground for a time of soul-searching, reflection, and wandering through nature. Facilitated by Rev. Dr. Amy Valdez Barker, this retreat invites everyone—regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey—to explore questions about faith and belief in a welcoming, open environment.

• When: Friday, Nov. 13 (5:30 PM) – Saturday, Nov. 14 (2:00 PM)
• Where: LVfirst Campground (700 Braselton Hwy)
• Cost: $150 (Includes meals, materials, and facilitation. Scholarships available.)

Our crossroads lunch is an opportunity for older adults (age 50+) to come together in the middle of the week for fellowship and to share a meal together.

Our next Crossroads Lunch is October 28th in the Family Center. Lunch is $5 and includes: Meatloaf, Mashed potatoes, Mixed Veggies, Roll, and Chocolate Cake.
