This Sunday we celebrated Confirmation at LVfirst as we welcomed 10 students into our church family! Confirmation Sunday is a huge "mountain-top" moment for these students as they take the next step in their faith journey. We talked about mountain top moments and how they help shape us and prepare us to not only recognize God on top of the mountain, but to still see God in the valleys.

Ash Wednesday
Save the date and join us for Ash Wednesday on March 5th at 6:30PM!
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. Scripture refers to ashes both as a sign of mortality and a sign of repentance. Worship for the day focuses on the themes of sin and death in the light of God’s redeeming love in Jesus Christ. Scripture references are found in Psalm 51, Joel 2:1-2, 12-17, 2 Corinthians 5:20-6:10, and Matthew 6:1-6, 16-18.

LV Students Pancake Dinner (March 4, 2025)
Join us on March 4th for our annual LV Students Pancake Dinner. All proceeds will go towards our students' upcoming Spring Break Mission Trip. Come out and join us in the Family Center from 6-8PM and support our students!
Soup & Sandwiches (March 5, 2025)
This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday where we will officially start the season of Lent together as a church family. Join us at 5:00PM in the Family Center for Soup and Sandwiches as we come together to share a meal and then head to the sanctuary for service at 6:30PM.
