SERVE OPPORTUNITY: Lawrenceville Assistance Project

Lawrenceville Assistance Project Returning September 8-10

Our Lawrenceville Assistance Project is returning for the second time this year! We have projects for the whole family and registration is currently open.

Historically, LAP was a missions opportunities for our student ministry over the summer. This past year, we decided to open up this incredible opportunity to connect with our community to people of all ages.

We will have a number of project sites throughout Lawrenceville. We will be helping out at our ministry partners like Nothing But The Truth and the Lawrenceville Co-Op and in-need individuals in Lawrenceville. There will be mission opportunities for the whole family, so make sure to get everyone signed up.

On September 9th, we are also hosting our annual Bed Build for Sleep in Heavenly Peace Gwinnett. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a ministry that provides beds to families with children who are currently sleeping on the floor. If you subscribe to our Newsletter, you often see photos of our members delivering beds throughout the year. This year's Bed Build will be held in coordination with the Lawrenceville Assistance Project.

There is a registration fee of $20/person to participate in LAP*. This fee goes towards providing materials for our job site, meals for everyone serving, and a t-shirt.
*We want everyone who wants to participate to be able to serve our community. If the registration fee is a hindrance, please reach out to mckades@lvfirst.org and we will make sure you're able to be involved.
