Are you feeling overwhelmed, tired, or unsure of your next right step? Over time, life's busyness and unforeseen crises can give us a kind of "spiritual presbyopia" — making what used to be crystal clear feel blurry and uncertain.
This Sunday, we walked through Acts 11 and the story of the early church in Antioch. We looked at how moments of crisis can actually open doors to extraordinary opportunity, why being an "encourager" changes communities, and how living with a clear vision transforms the way we love and serve those around us.

Sermon Notes
Check out some of the key takeaways from this past Sunday's sermon.
This week's scripture was Acts 11:19-30
This week's scripture was Acts 11:19-30
- Crisis often creates opportunity. The persecution that scattered the early church pushed believers far beyond their comfort zones, ultimately spreading the gospel to Antioch and beyond. When we face difficulty, God may be inviting us into something we never imagined possible.
- Encouragement and steadfast vision go hand in hand. Like Barnabas, we are called to look at what God is doing in our midst and encourage one another to remain steadfast in our purpose — gathered for worship and scattered for transformational service.
- Generosity brings our faith into focus. Our giving does not simply keep the lights on; it carries the light of Christ into dark places so that others can experience God's love in real and meaningful ways.
